Hey everyone! May passes by so fast, I didn't even realize it's June now. How is your day so far? Here I am with a skin care related post! Actually I've got lots of product that I still have to review, so since I don't want to spam you with food posts, I'll try to keep a balance between skincare stuff and food posts. Which is why today you'll see a review of a skincare product instead. Yay or Nay? LOL~~
As the title says, I'm going to review on a moisturizer that I used for about 3 months, which is this Ceramidin Oil Balm from Dr. Jart+. Are you guys excited? Because I am!
Ceramidin Oil Balm by DR. Jart is my new moisturizer! I have never used Ceramidin oil balm before, but upon reading some good things about it, I decided to try it out.
I have something to admit, I am crazy about moisturizer products. I have like countless of moisturizer product to be honest and I usually never finished them, but still, I always bought a new one. LOL Well, enough with my babbling, let's jump into the real review!
Dr. Jart+ is a brand that definitely have a higher price range, and you just get 40g of product. It is a small jar but you really don't have to use alot.
Please read the following information carefully!
Dr. Jart+ wrote in the description of this product that:
A do-it-all treatment for dry and dehydrated skin. Quick changed oil from balm easily absorbs into skin and moisturizes without greasiness. Creates a Cera-Barrier shield to protect and seal in hydration. Well, that certainly sounds promising doesn't it? If you have dry skin like me, this might be a review you'd want to keep reading on! =D
The back of the box are descriptions in Korean.
Dr. Jart+ puts a lot of effort into the design of their packaging boxes.
The manufacturing date can be found on the box.
Let's jump into the close up of the packaging!
The product itself comes in a sturdy glass jar that you wouldn't even have to worry about dropping it, but it is pretty heavy so it isn't very travel friendly.
I love how detailed all of Dr. Jart+'s product packaging is!
How to use:
Smooth on with fingers and apply to dry areas such as face, elbows, cuticles, ends of hair.
The jar is very simple with an embossed Dr. Jart+ logo on the lid.
You can typically find the manufactured date or the expiration date on the bottom of the product.
A new ceramidin oil balm is sealed with a sticker to indicate the product is never used before.
It comes with a spatula to scoop the product, which makes for convenient and hygienic application. To be honest, I don't like the tub packaging it's annoying to dip a spatula inside everyday. ><
Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Methyl Trimethicone, Polyethylene, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil Dimer Dilinoleate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ceramide NP, Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Silybum Marianum Seed Oil, Tocopherol.
This is how it looks like when you remove the seal! Texture of this product is a hard balm where you'd have to scrap amounts out to be able to use it.
You scoop up a tiny bit of oil balm with a spatula. Taken carefully and correctly! If you take too much of the oil balm you'll probably feel a little more greasy.
Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm has thicker texture with yellow oil balm color, and it has a light herbal fragrance.
It feels like a balm but melts instantly when you press it on your skin.
It is not a heavy type of greasiness, but it feels very lightweight and gets absorbed to the skin really well. It only needs around 30-40 seconds to get absorbed to the skin and and will loses the oil feel.
This is what my skin looked like after the application!
My skin is always dry because I live in South Korea, even now that it's almost summer! The ceramidin oil balm keeps my dry skin hydrated for a full 24 hours and it makes my skin look smooth and supple and it also gives me a glossy, healthy looking face that looks flawless, which is truly amazing! This balm really have high level of moist which I really need since I am a dry skin type. No other product has ever provided me full-day moisture and protection like this product has.
I use this balm every day on my face before I put on my makeup, and it makes my skin look dewy, but not greasy all day. I also applied the balm to complete my night skin care treatment. If you have dry skin and would like to try Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm, I recommend you to try it out. It's delightfully satisfying and it works greatly on your hair, cuticles, face, or anywhere your skin is dry. I wouldn't recommend this to people with normal to oily skin though.
Overall, say good-bye to dry skin and hello to "total moisture"! I am so in love with this Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm and totally works with my skin and not even once it broke me out. Never regrets buying this and I will definitely repurchase when I am done with this jar.
