Socko Sand Interesting Cafes in Korea

Hello every cafe lovers! It's been a long time I didn't post anything in my blog.
I apologize profusely to all my loyal visitors. I must say, this month has been full of the unexpected in so many ways, and make me depressed. ㅠㅠ Sometimes it's driving me crazy when I want to write a new blog post but on the other hand, my head feels full of pressure. Urgghhh!!! But, I normally updated on my Instagram, so if you want to keep updated with me, follow me on Instagram account @Tinz2412.
Well, enough with my babbling let's move to my new post! It will be a quite short one so sit back and enjoy! My friends and me went to this cafe and what's surprise me is this cafe is super cheap! We always passed by that area and one day, when my friends was asking me any good ideas for just hanging out and grab a brunch, I was thinking maybe we should visit this Socko Sand (싸코 샌드위치 & 커피). Thus, there we go!

Parking isn't that great but it all depends on the days of the week you stop by.
Socko Sand Cafe is a cafe which serving sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, juice and toast. Now it has become one of my top favorite cafe spots in the city.

Let's take a peek inside shall we?
First of all, the moment you walk in, you immediately feel relaxed.

There's plenty to see as soon as you step in cafe, so get your cameras ready!

Their front window is very visually fantastic and will make you feel like you are in a winter wonderland.

If you like to read, you can just simply grab a book from the table and read for free!

The cafe is clean, bright and the interior design is very modern looking with wooden tables and well decorated.

The cafe has a nice look inside and out, and had lots of creative artwork on the wall.

The atmosphere is very warm, cozy, calm and no rush. I am really glad we went there today and I am 100% certain that you will too.

I always have relaxing time here! This is one those places that I go back again and again. If I lived nearby I'd come here more often, and I will definitely bring my family to this place when they're visiting Seoul. =D

The lighting was slightly dimmed and they played great music in the background that fit the ambiance of the place and perfect for all members of the family which makes you feel excellent.

The cafe also has free wifi which is pretty decent and it's very spacious with plenty of tables and some outlets, so you can get some studying and other work done or just catch up with a friend while enjoying some coffee or tea.

You have to ask the owner for the WiFi password, which means you should probably purchase something before asking her for a password. The wifi works great and comfortable seats if you can catch an empty one.
The place does get extremely busy and very loud in the afternoon and you might want to bring earplugs or headphones if you require silence, since you will be surrounded by loads of people.

The cafe may be small, but it serves some grand breakfast dishes, sandwiches, toast, and specialty coffee drinks.

The woman serving us, who I believe was the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and will assist you in finding what you need.

Their menu is very innovative, and the pictures on the menu are extremely misleading. I took about 15 minutes looking at the menu because it had a lot to choose from.
They use a brochure to catch the attention and interest of the readers so that they want to read on and keep them coming back.
You can also order for take-away, and they provide nicely insulated bags to keep your food warm.

I am so addicted to the strawberry drink. It tastes so fresh and sweet. They actually do use real fruit, and you can actually taste it in the juice, and they have one fruit, or combination fruit juices that are fresh at a reasonable price.

My friends ordered the strawberry banana juice and it was way too sweet and the banana was more powerful than the strawberry, so she couldn't taste too much of the strawberry.

The lemon tea was somehow bitter, like she only used the white part of the lemon to make it.

The tomato juice is so good, I highly recommend it, and the prices are so good!

The fresh squeezed orange juice was great and fresh.

The preparation and presentation is beautiful and the food is fresh and excellent. Now we gonna taste the foods to see whether it is worth to wait!
The kaya toast was pretty delicious, and the bread has a good flavor and it has a good crisp on the outside and is soft on the inside. My first experience with kaya toast was really good, and I even went to the store later on to purchase a box of it to bring home. If you're in the neighborhood definitely drop in and even if you're not, it's worth the drive.

We've also had the French toast with ham, cheese, and strawberry jam, which melted in my mouth and filled my belly full of happiness. I've never had french toast that is so good! The combination of the strawberries and ham may sound strange, but it is actually light and very delicious! If you love French toast, definitely try this place, you won't regret it!

We also ordered the ham and cheese sandwich to share. The sandwich is huge and you can definitely share it with 2 people. They use a lot of fresh vegetables, but they give you one tiny slice of ham. The sandwich's we've gotten were just so-so, and it is a bit pricy for sandwich and the wait time for orders is a bit lengthy, considering our order was the only one being prepared. The sandwich itself is really dry for my taste, I think it needs more sauce.
