Hi guys! Sorry for disappearing for a while. Well, Christmas is just around the corner! How have you been? I must say I'm feeling stressed these days due to my never ending exams from my church! Sometimes, it's really devastating how much I want to blog but I have to study in the other hand. ㅠㅠ Anyway, I'm back and I'm gonna talk about one of the famous dessert in Korea but today I will talk less since I have exam this week (why God?! why?! ㅠㅠ), yet I'm still writing a post for you guys. Let's start shall we? Enjoy!
If you've been following me on Instagram, am sure you'll know that I'm a cafe hunter, I love to spend my time in a nice cafe and enjoy all kinds of delicious desserts and good drinks. When I'm on my way to go to Seoul National University Station (서울대입구역) Line 2 Exit 6, located in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu of southern Seoul, I dropped by IQ84 CHURROS (IQ84 츄러스) about a week ago. I never been here before, so I decided it was time to give it a try. As you know, IQ84 CHURROS has been in my to-try list for more than a month before, and finally I get my chance, I came here with my boyfriend and what do we do? Eat brunch here! Teehee~
IQ84 Churros is a take away shop selling freshly made churros, ice cream, and beverages. IQ84 Churros is currently the most popular street food in Korea, they're shaped into a loop using one long piece, with each made in front of you. If you have heard the churro craze lately you might want to check this place out!
The menu is small featuring a few different sets involving churros.
The churros have all been on display to the public in the IQ84 Churros. Everything on their display menu looked delicious.
They also sell a small selection of coffee, ade, and ice cream offerings too.
In Spain, the way people eat churros is by dipping them into a tiny pot of melted chocolate sauce. Just like it's slogan, "IQ84 CHURROS With Chocolate" you will be able to try a new dessert culture!
You can also get ice cream to accompany your churro!
The cafe was kinda small but had a good vibe to it. They have limited seating available, and there's seating for maybe 10-12 people inside, but they have a little take-out window so you can just order to go. The tables and chairs are quite comfortable.
I love that the cafe is not only small and cosy, but it also nicely decorated with lots of natural light coming in.
The inside of this place has an open kitchen where you can watch the churros being made right in front of you and it is worth the visit since it's such a classic gem.

Me and my oppa bought churros and ate them at the store. We ordered Mango Churfait and Cream Cheese Churros to share! They have other menus too, like choco churros, rainbow churros, almond churros, sunflowerseed churrios, toktocandy churros, strawberry churros, and plain churros. I wish I can eat all of them! :(
I love the smell of freshly cooked churro. Mango is an excellent companion with churros. The mango churfait was a bit too sweet for my liking but it was good. The churros are curnchy on the outside, chewy, and cripsy but the inside was soft and fluffy. You guys should try their churros with ice cream, their ice cream is really damn good. Try it you wont regret it!
The cream cheese churros were made hot and fresh for us from the churro machine. Nicely made fresh churros best to savor when the churros are warm. This cream cheese churros is very tasty, the cream cheese churros was just the right amount of cheese and cream, and the cheese tasted very light, fluffy, and smooth! You can taste sweet, warm churros right away, which I like. It taste crispy on the outside and moist-doughy on the inside at the same time and very delicious too. But, I thought that is a very expensive portion for KRW3,000.
