Coronado Beach San Diego Getaway

Hello everyone! Today is so damn hot in Korea and here I am writing a new post while drinking my coke. lol
Anyway, I just came back my trip to San Diego, and I'm going to write a short blog post with a lots of photos today because I'm going away until 3rd August and probably didn't have the chance to update my blog until then!
So you guys must be wondering where did I went for my summer holiday! No?! Well I'm still gonna tell you anyway, LOL! Ok Ok, let me stop talking and now let's take a look at the photos taken by yours truly! Enjoy it guys! =D

Me and my oppa went to a beach called Coronado. This is actually my first time in Coronado Beach, and this beach is absolutely amazing and is huge! Coming to this beach makes me happy. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to a lot of beautiful beaches in my life time. *Thank you honey*

Coronado City Beach is located on the Pacific Ocean side of Coronado Island and lies adjacent to Ocean Blvd. Coronado is a small jewel island in front of San Diego, and one of the largest beaches I have ever seen so even though there were a lot of people there, we were not disturbed.

Coronado City Beach is a beautiful beach to enjoy an entire day or weekend sprawled out under the sun as you gaze at the blue Pacific Ocean and definitely a beach to go for peace!

When you come here, you not only get to cross the Coronado bridge, but you also get to see the Hotel Del which is a unique building and famous place for all the movie star legends it used to host. Although we didn't stay there, Hotel Coronado runs along the beach, making a beautiful backdrop. We may have to stay there next time! hehehe ;)

There were a lot of people but not as crowded as it could've been.

You can ocean watch, people watch, and sunset watch.

It's definitely a walking beach!

The water is so blue, and the water is obviously freezing at first touch but after ten minutes or so, you get used to it.

If you want to find the beach that is very peaceful and romantic, you can go Coronado beach. Even if the weather was bad, there were many people who took a rest.

The weather was gorgeous and the ocean views were stunning!

The beach is popular for swimmers, surfers, sunbathers and beachcombers.

The people here were mostly families, or couples!

I love how the sand feels! The sand has a silvery sheen because of the presence of mica. The sand here is so beautiful, it's soft and literally sparkles.

The scenery is amazing no matter where you look.

Take a nostalgic 15-minute ride across the bay to Coronado. Now departing from two San Diego locations; Broadway Pier and the Convention Center. Once across you'll arrive at the Coronado Ferry Landing, a waterfront marketplace full of over 25 unique shops and restaurants. You can check ferry schedules at

The beach is very flat, it was very clean, making it great for swim, body board, walking, or just fall asleep while reading a good book or listening to music. Other activities include beach volleyball, tide pool exploration, and kite flying.

Everything looks so pure. It's totally worth going and I do recommend going to swimming or play in the sand and enjoy some time away from your work, and busy life. You have to see it for yourself to know how awesome it looks!
