Hello guys! I hope you guys are doing just fine! It's me again after a while of disappearing somewhere since my last post! =D Today's, I'm going to post restaurant review time, I did restaurant hunting with my oppa last Tuesday (anyway, it's tiring to write "MY BOYFRIEND" all the time so I will just write "OPPA" from now on), so I want to show you guys! Are you guys excited? Let's start shall we?
We went to this restaurant called, Peperoncino (페페론치노) for dinner and we are very impressed by this restaurant!
They specialise in quality pasta, pizza, and steak at affordable prices!
They had a special menu for lunch (9,900 KRW) which is the most popular food.
Let's take a peek inside shall we?
As you walk in, the place is quite small you can probably count the number of tables, and the entire restaurant is lovely and gives off a cute yet affordable vibe.
Peperoncino, turn, on your dream!
I was very impressed with the service. The waiters were extremely kind, friendly, informative, and attentive. We got seated right away and the wait to get our orders taken wasn't too long.
The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet dinner, and the restaurant was clean and very welcoming. The brick walls are definitely a plus for me because it makes the place look cozy and airy.
The ambiance of the restaurant exudes a very classic Italian theme with the dim lighting, red, brown, and white chair. I heard that the lines here are crazy, but we didn't see any of that on Tuesday, but maybe on the weekends, there will undoubtedly be some long lines, but don't worry because they go by relatively quickly.
I love the arrangement of the paintings on their brick walls, because it makes the paintings stand out more.
The prices reasonable and the menu has many side dishes that I want to try!
There is a wide variety of Italian pasta selections with absolutely delicious choices
There is a menu board at the front, so you can look to see what they have in advance. If you're looking for a place with the great Italian food, this is the place to go!
The tiramisu here is homemade!
Every customer can watch chefs prepare fresh pasta, steak, pizza, bread and desserts from the open kitchen. The delightful scents of meals are sure to entice the senses.
At the self bar you can have all the free water and side dishes.
I actually had a very hard time choosing the menu which one to order because everything was just appealing to me and the menu fits everyone's taste! I really liked that the menus were written in Korean and English because it will be much easier for foreigner to order.
They have so many delicious pasta, steak, and pizza, and I'm definitely gonna have to go back to try some different ones.

I finally decided to have Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta (봉골레) as dinner, and my oppa got their Tomato Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta (토봉). Here are the pasta that we tried! The food was excellently prepared, and this is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to.
This is it Seafood pasta with clams in tomato sauce Spaghetti! The Tomato Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta came out pretty fast and it arrived in a very adorable presentation, yet smelled really good. But I waiting for my Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta took quite a while, but it's not a long wait, I assume that this is because they are making everything from scratch.
I tried some of my oppa's pasta and that was fantastic as well, but in my opinion the vongole pasta was definitely better than the tomato vongole pasta. Please don't take my words as absolute, my oppa said that he actually enjoyed the tomato vongole pasta more that the vongole pasta, so I guess it just depends on your taste buds.
Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta is a sublimely simple pasta made with garlic, clams, olive oil, peppers and a bit of parsley. The vongole pasta was perfectly cooked, light, chewy, not soggy and pretty much everything else is fresh made.
The pasta was a great texture, melt in your mouth spaghetti with fresh shell and fried garlic makes a refreshing and yummy pasta. The great quality of the ingredients they use here is really showcased on this Vongole Ttukbaegi Pasta. They are just very generous with the amount of clams in the pasta that makes you feel like they truly care and they are not stingy.
The dessert here is the bomb! Every meal comes with complimentary brownie and bread. First off the fresh bread is warm, soft, and so tasty! I wish they would've put more though. I wanted more, maybe I'm just hungry or too greedy! =D
I also really like their their complimentary brownie. Everything was made with so much care and love, it tasted like it really just came out straight from the oven before it was served to us, you can taste it in every bite! The brownie was to die for, it was warm, sweet and soft. Their brownies really are baked to perfection and really good way to end the meal!
Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner here, and everything from the food to the service was really nice. Peperoncino is the perfect choice when you want Italian food in a classic and homey atmosphere. Definitely glad we dropped by and if you have never tried this place before you are seriously missing out!
