Nature Republic Pure BB Cream

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted a review, I am kind of busy on some things such as sleeping, shopping, and eating. =D
As you know, Nature Republic is always my go-to brand, whenever I need something, at all times I will look at their product range and choose one. This time I want to try their new BB cream which is Pure BB Cream. I had a hard time, choosing which one to try since it's my first BB Cream ever. So, today I've decided to do a review on this Nature Republic Pure BB Cream SPF30 PA++ early since sadly I haven't seen many review about this product before I purchased it, it might be more helpful than reviewing products that are reviewed several times by others.

The color I'm using is the color no. 21 (light beige)

The back of the box with all the korean letters on it!

Here, you can see the ingredients of the BB cream.

Description:
-The BB cream provides a healthy skin tone with its excellent adherence and high coverage.

How to use:
- At the last step of skin care, apply an appropriate amount to the entire face in a gentle tapping motion to achieve natural makeup.

The Nature Republic Pure BB Cream comes in a plastic squeeze tube packaging contains 15ml product. Having SPF 30 PA++ for your everyday protection against sun exposure will be beneficial for everyone, and it comes with 2 shades: Light Beige and Natural.

This is the first BB cream I've tried from Nature Republic. I am not happy with it and don't want to continue using! This make me disappointed and frustrated that after spending the money on a product, I cannot use it fully for the face I need. If you are interested to know how this made me disappointed please continue reading!

I tried applying a small amount on my hands and here's how it looked like! As you can see the cream is beige in colour and relatively creamy and thick.

Here's a hand test to see how it blends out! The texture was a little dry because this product doesn't have a moisturizing benefits, BB cream should have a moisturizing content but it doesn't! It does have a thicker consistency than other foundations in the market, so it takes a bit more effort to blend out. The BB Cream is more into yellow-ish tone. It does have a perfume type of smell to it, but it doesn't bother me because it will disappears soon after you apply it on your face, if you are sensitive to smell, I probably wouldn't advise purchasing this.

Actually, I am not a fan of BB Creams, I just want to try and I have figured it out as soon as I applied it that it wasn't for me. This is not a long lasting BB cream and I don't find it particurarly moisturizing, in fact after few hours I start to see dry patches around my cheeks and nose. If you have a very dry skin then you should consider to give more moisture before using this BB cream. If you squeeze out too much and you'll get a slight grayish cast on your face. For me, the color looks pale and this type of BB cream doesn't match with my skin tone.
Okay, here you can see how it looks on my skin. Can you see the difference? Well, I guess I don't have to explain it further because the picture says it all. =)

I hope you enjoyed the review! If you have questions about this BB Cream, feel free to post a comment and I will reply as soon as possible! =D

  14. Wow. I'm so glad I read this. Last night I was browsing and looked at this, but didn't buy it because I'm more fond of the cushion types of BB creams. I'm sorry that it didn't work well for you. It looks like it got caught in all of the lines in your hands rather than smoothing out right.

I'm not sure if this would help, but have you tried putting on a primer first, then using a minimal amount of product and then blending it out with a beauty sponge? That's generally what I do with my Rimmel BB cream, which feels a bit thicker than other bb creams I've used, but not as thick and bad as the Garnier BB cream. Your review reminds me so much of the Garnier BB cream review I did a few years ago. Smells perfumey and thick, but left me feeling very greasy and orange. I felt like a carrot.
