Hello Guys!!! How are you?
First of all I sure hope you're not bored with my blog. ^^ I hope you will enjoy the story, and hope it will make you smile too!
Today i'll share my experience at Starbucks.
Starbucks (스타벅스커피) was founded in the 1970's in the USA, but has now spread all over the world and is now in 62 countries including South Korea.
Starbucks in Korea look very similar to Starbucks in America or another country and what people should know is that Koreans aren't early crack in the morning coffee drinkers. But rather they like to enjoy their coffee through out the day into evening.
Walking into Starbucks, no matter where in the world you are immediately hit with that coffee smell, and the cafe is designed to utilize a rich color palette including warm wood finishes and a large live edge community table.
The coffee culture in Korea is really bursting and Koreans like to commingle or mingle in cafes which could explain why coffee in Korea can be sold nearly twice the amount as coffee in America.
For all you coffee lovers out there, there's something new brewing at Starbucks that is sure to catch your eye and your taste buds when you're in line to get that must have drink this winter.
The list of drink and food that they serve are listed on the menu hanging behind the counter. You can decide what you want to order while waiting in line.
What I like is that the menu is in Korean and English.
The menu has a lot to choose from. Starbucks also sells some of their products at the counter for customers to buy back home. This include their breads, cakes, coffee beans, sandwich, dark chocolate and other snacks.
Actually, today wasn't a good day for me, so I opted for something much refreshing which was the Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino instead of the heavy caffeinated beverages. So, this is what i ordered!
Oh! The price is a little bit expensive, I bought it for 6,100 Won!
It is the first time I tried Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino and it was okay! The texture is smooth and soft, it just melts in my mouth. There was the Mango Passionfruit Frappuccino with mango pudding made with a base of tropical mango and passionfruit and blended with ice.
There are 97 calories in a short serving of Starbucks Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino (Blended with Passion Tea), and Calorie breakdown: 1% fat, 97% carbs, 2% protein.
Honestly, I don't recommend you to grab the Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino from Starbucks. Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean that it tasted like shit, they are really good. But, for me it tasted exactly like any other artificial mango fruit juices that you can easily get in the market. The only different is that the plastic cup was printed with the renowed Starbucks logo!
So, that's basically what we paid for!
Anyway, I enjoyed this drink. It’s definitely a nice ‘pick up and go’ coffee or juice drink and on a tired day like today, it’s perfect for an iced drink.
Starbucks tissue design, it's so simple!
Thanks for reading, and I hope you come back and visit whenever you're bored!
