Real Pure Aloe Etude House

Hello everyone! These days, I find my skin drying up again, and as always I will blame the weather! Winter is coming closer these days, so the skin has needs of a modified skincare. My skin tends to be very dry in cold winters.
You know aloe vera is good for skin, so last month I bought a Aloe Moistfull Real Pure 92% from Etude House (에뛰드하우스). I got this from the Etude House Korean store in Gangnam for only 5,900 Won. That's affordable price, right?! Etude House is a popular brand of Korean cosmetics. So, today I'm going to review and share with you about how awesome Moistfull Aloe Real Soothing Gel 92 really is! I actually buy this aloe gel specially for autumn season.
OK, let's get on to the packaging!

The packaging is made from plastic, strong and safe. So I don't need to worry if I drop this jar, as long as I close the jar perfectly. I love the green color of the packaging, and it is pretty much that simple. It is a large quantity, provided in a tub the size of a huge bowl. I won't have to repurchase for awhile because this tub will probably last me until next year. This product contains 300ml of moistfull aloe real soothing gel. The price is a reasonable so totally worth it with my budget.

This product contains 92% of aloe vera. Extracts from aloe vera are widely used in the cosmetics and alternative medicine industries, being marketed as variously having rejuvenating, healing, or soothing properties. Aloe moisturizes the skin without giving it a greasy feel, so it`s perfect for anyone with an oily skin complexion.
For women who use mineral based make-up, aloe vera acts as a moisturizer and is great for the face prior to the application to prevents skin drying. For men: Aloe vera gel can be used as an aftershave treatment as its healing properties can treat small cuts caused by shaving.

On the buttom of the tub, they have descriptions, directions, cautions, ingredients and volume of the products in both korean and english. There's a product description at the bottom of the tub. Just zoom in to see the long list of ingredient as well.

This Gel can be use in 8 ways: moisturizing or mask pack, makeup base, after shaving, hair, relaxing swollen eyes, nail, body, relaxing sunburn. In terms of weight, this has to be by far, one of the heaviest skincare products I own. It’s really solid and bigger than the palm of my hand.

How to use:
Apply appropriate amount to dry , sensitive parts of the face and body for best results.

The first time I opened this jar, I was amazed by how fresh and pure this gel looks. It is totally transparent but since the packaging is light green it gives a very nice light green tint to the product. The generous amount in one tub, I can use it in so many ways. Oh, I can see the cover on top of the gel to protect it from damaging, but I personally threw it out right away when I finished taking these pictures because i thought I didn't need it. ㅠ.ㅠ There is no spatula is provided in the product, I think it's unhygienic to use your bare hands to scoop the product. I suggest using a small spoon to keep the product germ-free or leave the product in the fridge.

This gel have a light texture and not sticky. It's also contain baobab tree extract, this product is really natural and not contain chemicals and other dangerous ingredients. The expired is 12 month after opening, I'm really sure that I can finish it before 6 months because I not only use this as a facial moisturizer, but also as a body lotion and it works great both ways! It helps me on treating dryness amazingly, and it is very soothing and it makes my skin feel so smooth, cool, fresh, and soft. But, if you put on too much you will feel a little sticky, but it will go away once it absorbs into your skin. I have dry skin, so I use this everyday after the shower, and I apply this on my face after washing and before applying make-up. If you only use it for your face daily, it should last at least a year. Hahaha!
This Moistfull Aloe Real Soothing Gel is a very light moisturizing gel which you can use every day because it is so comfortable for the skin and I find it very soothing especially when used during summer. This Aloe Moistfull is highly recommended for people who don't like that sticky humid feeling especially in the summer and this aloe moistfull gel can you use for any skin type.

I wash my hands, and apply good amount of this product on my hand. As you can see here, that's how it looks like on my skin.
The texture is just like real aloe vera gel: a thick, watery texture. It melts right away onto the skin and gives a refreshing and cooling effect. That generous amount can cover my neck and arm area. As expected, it is a clear gel type product, which is cooling and feels moist and hydrating. It needs a couple of minutes to absorb, but it leaves your skin bright and supple.

This sinks in pretty fast and did not leave any residue at all, it just feels cool, and tender. The nice smell and the cool feeling of the product on my skin makes me want to snooze off right away. It's really relaxing and refreshing! I love this product and I have been using it every night since I bought it, no irritation or breakout occured. Really nice product! I'm so glad I discovered it! Hahaha.

Overall, I really love the Aloe Moistfull line from Etude House, and I think it's suitable enough for my dry skin. I would also recommend this line to those who have dry or irritated skin because this line is very soothing and it has done great things for my dry area. It really help soothe, alleviate, and moisturize the dry and irritated area of my skin. Okay, I guess that's all for the review, thanks for reading and I'll talk to you on my next post!

  1. Oh my! I never new that you can use this as facial moisturizer! I thought these were only for cuts. This post gave me additional knowledge about the other uses of the product! I can't believe this has 92% aloe vera! Wow! You can hardly find a product now that has that amount of aloe vera.

I'll check if Etude House here in the Philippines has this product. I want to try it on my face. Will let you know once I get to find one :D
